'My goal is to ... and I will use these means to achieve it', would be nice to always be able to create this very parallelism! It is not always possible: sometimes you do not know well what is their purpose, sometimes you do not know the means to achieve it, sometimes the end is rather clear, we are not willing to give up anything and, therefore, straight march towards the goal, underestimate, overestimate or ignore the consequences of the end itself or the use of the means chosen can have on ourselves or on others.
